Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that all mechanical deliverables are on track.
Key Objectives:
* Customer Interface: Develop strong customer interaction skills to serve as a customer interface for ME deliverables.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with global execution engineers to communicate customer requirements and follow up on deliverables.
* Project Development: Understand automotive project development phases, timing, and processes.
* Process Management: Track the project according to automotive development flow and deliver internal process-related deliverables in tools like Jira and Confluence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
* Experience: Project execution experience from RFQ to SOP, with knowledge of global automotive design flow (project management experience is a bonus).
* Language Skills: Good English skills (mandatory).
* Software Proficiency: Experience in CAD systems (Catia preferred, NX, Team Center database) and structural or thermal simulation tools (preferred).
* Additional Skills: Knowledge of enclosure design, thermal management, structural design, sealing, interconnections, PCB, and material selection for in-cabin and exterior environments.
