About The Role

We are hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to support pre-sales, early-stage customer onboarding, and solution scoping. You'll work at the intersection of power systems engineering, customer success, and technology—guiding clients through how our software works and how it unlocks tangible business value.

This is not a pure sales role—this is for someone who can speak the language of utilities, system operators, and renewable plant operators, understands grid constraints, and can explain how AI-powered software can solve real bottlenecks in grid or plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical liaison between the sales team and prospective clients—especially grid operators and renewable producers.
Lead and support customer conversations on grid operations, curtailment, congestion, dynamic ratings, and renewable optimization.
Translate technical problems into clearly defined solution scopes using Enline's product modules.
Collaborate with product and engineering to deliver demos, pilots, and simulations that demonstrate our platform's value.
Support documentation, proposal writing, and grant/tender applications from a technical angle.
Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to represent Enline and support lead generation.
Help close deals by building trust through technical depth and clear communication.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant quantitative field.
At least 2 years in a role requiring frequent, high-level communication with clients or stakeholders (e.g., explaining technical concepts, making recommendations, presenting solutions, or supporting decision-making)
Experience in energy, utilities, grid operations, renewables, or power systems software.
Solid understanding of power flows, SCADA systems, power generation, transmission constraints, and grid planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Portuguese/Spanish is a plus.
Comfort explaining complex technical systems to both engineers and non-engineers.
Experience with Python for data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Digital Twin platforms or simulation-based software.
Familiarity with system operator workflows (TSOs/DSOs) or plant operators (wind, solar, BESS).
Knowledge of grid planning or operational tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, or similar.
Experience working with or selling technical solutions to utilities or IPPs.
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, especially those relevant to time series forecasting, optimization, or anomaly detection.
Hands-on experience using tools like ChatGPT or Copilot to enhance productivity.
