Project Overview: Data, AI, and ML, Google
* We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team for a project with Google. This project focuses on building a unified platform that delivers dynamic, near-real-time data on brand perception, competitor actions, and consumer behavior.
* You'll be working with a talented team on a solution that empowers marketers to optimize campaigns on the fly, enables insights professionals to conduct deeper, faster analysis, and provides executives with clear visibility into marketing performance.
* The project will leverage GCP and Google AI/ML components, including, but not limited to: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Gemini 1.5 Pro, Gemini 1.5 Flash, db-types, Google Auth, Google API Core, Google API Python Client, App Engine, mpuCote Engine, Redis Memory Store (Cache), RAG applications, advanced analyses, and modeling. Therefore, while you don't need to be an engineer or a technical individual, you should have a solid understanding of the Google technical ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
* Demonstrate program delivery proficiency in data, AI, and ML engagements, including understanding real-time data architectures, AI/ML pipelines, and generative AI concepts.
* Use your knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies (like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Gemini) to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans.
* Use your project management expertise to manage complex, large-scale data and AI projects, and apply agile methodologies and iterative development.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, and use your risk management and problem-solving skills.
* Provide leadership and team management by leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
* Use your stakeholder management and communication skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Manage diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, and gather buy-in from them.
* Show agility and adaptability by thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities, and proactively solving problems and making decisions.
We'd look for you to be able to bring:
* Experience in successfully managing projects that have been designed and implemented with real-time data architectures.
* A strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, from data preparation to model deployment.
* A proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data and AI technologies, and the ability to quickly learn new data technologies to meet project deadlines.
* Experience in managing project timelines and budgets, especially when dealing with uncertainty and changing requirements.
* Deep experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to apply Agile principles to a range of different project environments.
* A leadership style that motivates teams and fosters a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
* Skills in handling conflict within a team, and experience in mentoring and developing team members.
* Excellent communication skills to convey project progress and updates to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
* Proven ability to gather requirements and gain buy-in from stakeholders, even when they don't have a dedicated project manager or project owner.
