We are looking for a Data Scientist for this project
Responsibilities:
* Analyze historical banking data and build ML models for fraud detection .
* Clean, validate and preprocess data from multiple sources.
* Create and iterate on features and customer behavior metrics.
* Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to refine and improve model performance.
* Present findings to the Project Manager and support DS-related decision-making.
What are we looking for?
* Strong experience in Machine Learning, including model training/testing and overfitting prevention.
* Proficiency in Python and Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop ).
* Ability to clean, preprocess and validate large and complex datasets.
* Knowledge of detection-focused algorithms, especially tree-based models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LGBM).
* Clear communication skills for presenting technical results to stakeholders.
