Job Title: Microsoft 365 Consultant / Engineer

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Microsoft 365 Consultant/Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-growing cloud software business focused on transforming enterprise productivity.
You'll play a critical part in delivering robust Microsoft 365 solutions, supporting users, and leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of M365 platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior escalation point and subject matter expert for all M365-related issues, providing third-line support across platforms such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate.
- Maintain and optimise the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user account administration, configuration management, and scripting automation using PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot user connectivity, email distribution, and mobile access challenges, using native M365 tools and third-party solutions.
- Lead the deployment and integration of Microsoft 365 applications across departments, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Deliver training sessions and end-user guidance to support adoption and maximise collaboration and productivity through M365 tools.
- Contribute to architecture design, best practices, and documentation for both new and existing M365 environments.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in systems or infrastructure environments with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 administration.
- Solid hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory, and DNS.
- Competency in creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and issue remediation.
- Proven ability to support, educate, and guide users in the adoption of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong consultancy skills – able to gather requirements, design solutions, and engage with business stakeholders.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security Administrator Associate, or Teams Administrator Associate) are advantageous.
