C# Developer - Electronic Trading Platform (Lisbon or Porto)
Ossia Portugal is expanding its team and we're looking for a talented C# Developer to contribute to the development of high-performance components for an electronic trading platform. You will join a team working on real-time systems, complex market data flows, and cutting-edge trading functionalities.
Your Responsibilities
You will be involved in the full lifecycle of advanced trading components, including:
* Design and development of components for publishing, recording and replaying internal and external market data
* Implementation of simulation engines for the replay tool (what-if scenarios, custom behaviour, etc.)
* Development of external gateways (Horizon, ION ) and connectivity modules
* Contribution to best practices for real-time and high-performance application development
* Close collaboration with end-users (traders, support, front-office teams) to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
* Support in implementing and optimising trading algorithms
Your Profile
* Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
* Comfortable working with trading teams and business stakeholders
* Excellent technical skills in C# .NET (6+): memory management, multithreading, asynchronous programming
* Good functional understanding of trading systems: order books, automata, quoting, hedging, market microstructure
* Experience building components that handle high-volume event streams (updates, inserts, deletes)
* Knowledge of electronic trading environments is a strong plus

* Compensation will be adjusted based on seniority and technical expertise, ranging from 28k for junior profiles to 48k for senior/expert profiles.
