Job Opportunity: IT Operations Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades, maintaining the infrastructure in operational condition, monitoring and tracking system performance, communicating improvement and updates to stakeholders, and performing support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensures the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades
* Maintains the infrastructure in operational condition
* Monitors and tracks system performance
* Communicates improvement, updates and changes to stakeholders
* Performs support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
* Analyses console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action to ensure continuity of operations
* Supervises system backup processing, and leads disaster recovery tests
Requirements:
* Experience in IT service management, with a focus on service design, transition, and operation
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices
* Experience in defining and managing key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Fluent English is mandatory
