Mission
Own end-to-end legal execution for Golden Visa and investment-migration cases (primarily Portugal; secondary Spain/Greece). Deliver clean files, fast approvals, and happy clients. No passengers.
What You'll Do
* Case Ownership:
Run full lifecycle for GV/Residence permits: eligibility, strategy, KYC/AML, document prep, fund subscription coordination, SEF/AIMA/Consulate filings, biometrics, renewals.
* Client Advisory:
Give clear, options-based advice to HNW clients (mostly US). Kill ambiguity. Flag risks early.
* Cross-Border Coordination:
Liaise with fund managers, banks, notaries, translators, consulates, and internal tax team.
* Quality & Speed:
Standardize templates, checklists, and SLAs. Reduce cycle times and rework.
* Compliance:
Keep us square with Bar rules, GDPR, AML, and advertising restrictions. Maintain immaculate file notes.
* Content & Enablement (light):
Improve our client guides, checklists, and FAQs. Train ops on new rules.
* Systems:
Work in
Odoo CRM
, Google Workspace, and our client portal. Keep pipeline and status accurate daily.
Must-Haves
* Licensed attorney
in
Portugal (Ordem dos Advogados)
* 3+ years
recent experience in
investment migration
(Golden Visa or equivalent).
* Proven wins on
Portugal GV
post-2023 rule changes (no real estate) — funds route experience required.
* Strong
KYC/AML
practice; comfortable rejecting edge-case clients.
* Crisp English.
* Process discipline: you live by checklists, SLAs, and written comms.
Nice-to-Haves
* US client exposure (IRA/401k custodians, W-8BEN/W-9 basics, source-of-funds quirks).
* Banking onboarding (NIF, NIB/IBAN setups), notarial acts, POAs, sworn translations.
* Tax coordination experience (Portugal
ITS
/NHR legacy, Spain/Greece basics).
* Tooling: Odoo, e-signature, DMS (Drive/Dropbox), ticketing, intake forms (Fillout), automations (n8n/Make).

Compensation
* Employee:
Competitive base +

Work Setup
