About The Role
As a Finance Operations Specialist you will manage day-to-day finance activities, including AP/AR, reconciliations, payments, and cash flow.
You will ensure accurate transaction recording, compliance with internal controls, and support system improvements (ERP, reporting, automation).
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Payment processing, collections, and operational cash flow management
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and deadlines
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to finance processes
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (ERP, reporting, automation tools)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and external auditors when required
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of: general accounting principles, AP/AR processes and cash management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.G. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Primavera, Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)
- Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements (nice to have)
- High attention to detail and accuracy, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong ownership mindset and sense of accountability
- Continuous improvement and efficiency-driven mindset
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive, autonomous, and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
