Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a software engineer to play a role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications in a classic banking environment - highly regulated and mission-critical.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET 8 and other .NET versions, including ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and Web Services.
* Build and maintain backend services using Entity Framework and SQL Server, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
* Contribute to full-stack development, collaborating on both backend logic and front-end integrations.
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations.
* Work with source control systems such as Git and TFVC, following best practices for branching, versioning, and code reviews.
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools to ensure reliable builds and deployments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations) to ensure high-quality and secure software delivery.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing systems, contributing to continuous improvement and modernization efforts.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
* Strong experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET 8 or later), including ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs.
* Solid knowledge of Entity Framework and SQL Server, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
* Experience with source control tools such as Git and TFVC.
* Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and repository management.
* Full-stack development experience and understanding of end-to-end application architecture.
