Executive Chef Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team in Lisbon, Portugal.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create menus that showcase current culinary trends and flavors.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
* Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
* Train and supervise kitchen staff to optimize productivity and efficiency.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment to promote employee well-being.
* Evaluate and improve the performance of kitchen staff through regular feedback and coaching.
Requirements:
* Prior experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team towards common goals.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless operations.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
