Sterisets Manufacturing, part of the Sterisets International Group, is strengthening its Finance team in response to the company's continued growth. We are looking for a Financial Assistant to support the day-to-day financial and administrative activities of the department, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal procedures.
What will you be doing?
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Assistant based in Penafiel.
The Financial Assistant will be responsible for:
* Carry out bank and credit card reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Manage suppliers' accounts, ensuring data is up to date, accurate, and reliable
* Book and account for purchase invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
* Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts, contributing to informed decision-making
* Process and validate financial data, ensuring integrity, consistency, and completeness of information
* Perform a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance department
Who are we looking for?
* Education in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field (technical or higher education)
* Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role is an advantage
* Knowledge of Primavera ERP is considered a plus
* Good Excel skills
* Fluent English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
* Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and growing industrial environment
