Job description
In your new role you will:
* Serve as the key finance partner to Product Line leadership and be a key member of the Product Line (PL) Management team.
* Plan, lead, coordinate, and manage the budgeting and forecasting activities for the business unit, including the 5-year strategic plan, annual budget, and quarterly forecast(s) for Revenue, Gross Margin, Spending, and Headcount.
* Provide monthly management reporting of revenue, actual spending, product costs, and variance analysis.
* Be responsible for the commercial matters of the product line.
* Identify and drive process improvements and system automation projects.
* Help integrate the Product Line into Infineon’s systems and processes.
* Develop KPI's and monitor achievement with senior leadership.
* Provide strategic consultation and guidance to PL management on financial issues, evaluate business proposals, and make recommendations for optimizing the economic impact of business initiatives.
* This is an individual contributor role, which is highly interactive within the Product Line, with Division Finance at Headquarters, as well as Americas Finance colleagues.
Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or Accounting. A Master's degree in Finance or an equivalent MBA is a plus.
* 10 years of financial experience, including managing the finances of a business line.
* Background in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
* Oracle/SAP or equivalent experience.
* A capacity to absorb information quickly, evaluate data from different perspectives, and understand correlations. A high interest in market understanding and product positioning.
* A business-minded approach, characterized by high cost consciousness, a passion to grow profits, and results orientation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels and with international partners.
* Ability to influence business partners with data-driven decision support.
* Integrity in all circumstances.
* Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
* Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
