This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and developer experience, with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability.You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, security specialists, and operations teams to design modern platform solutions that enable fast delivery while maintaining strong governance and resilience.
This is a hands-on position where you'll influence architecture, improve tooling, and help shape best practices across the organisation.What You'll DoDesign, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and securityPartner with security teams to embed security controls into infrastructure, pipelines, and development workflowsDrive adoption of DevSecOps practices, including early stage security integration in the software lifecycleDevelop internal tools and automation to enhance developer productivity across Linux and macOS environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and secure software deliveryManage and optimise containerised environments using Kubernetes and related technologiesImprove system observability, performance, and incident response capabilitiesImplement infrastructure as code and automated provisioning processesTroubleshoot complex system issues across distributed environmentsContribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve platform standardsRequirementsExtensive experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering rolesStrong hands on experience with cloud platforms, preference would be AWSProven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practical implementation in production environmentsExperience with tools such as SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning into pipelinesHands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes in productionStrong Linux system knowledge, including scripting and system level troubleshootingExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationFamiliarity with distributed systems and microservices architecturesExperience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDBAbility to write clean, maintainable code in languages such as Python or JavaGood communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
