ABOUT THE ROLE As a Software Engineer you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company, committed to delivering value‐added services in the investment product space. You will be part of the IT Development department in Lisbon, working on Front‐office, Structuring and Quantitative Investment Strategies Applications within our system landscape. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work closely with business and other IT units to gather and understand requirements, specify solutions and estimate efforts. Contribute to software and architectural design decisions. Contribute to a robust automated test suite to work in a continuous integration / continuous deployment environment. Implement changes to address business needs and keep the platform technically up to date. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Educational Background: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Problem‐Solving Ability: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Willingness to learn new technologies and commitment to continuous learning. Can‐do attitude: deliver code to production for stakeholders and follow up upon release. NICE TO HAVE Practical experience: portfolio of personal projects, hackathon participation, or internship experience. Knowledge of object‐oriented languages and/or functional languages, willingness to learn on ASP.NET/C#. Python, Bash, SQL are a plus.
