Role Description
The TEKLA Modeler/Drafter position in the Steel and Timber Structures Department at A400 includes the following responsibilities:
* Develop TEKLA models based on calculation models and structural sketches;
* Coordinate structural designs with other engineering disciplines and architectural projects;
* Use and develop parametric objects to facilitate architectural or structural adjustments and enable solution standardization;
* Produce drawings: plans, sections, and connection details;
* Propose and discuss alternative solutions to be implemented in ongoing projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
* Certified training in the use of TEKLA software;
* Education in technical drafting or a degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering;
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in modeling steel or timber structures;
* Knowledge of the main production standards for steel and timber structures;
* Ability to work effectively in a team;
* Knowledge of the following tools is considered a plus: Dynamo, Grasshopper, C#, Visual Basic, or other programming languages.
