The Role: Android Developer
We're looking for a skilled Android Developer to join a lean and agile team of four Android engineers. In this role, you'll have full ownership of your features — from idea to implementation — and help shape the app's technical foundation.
You'll work closely with Designers, Product Managers, and cross-functional Engineering teams, all while helping drive product decisions and contribute to the overall Android vision of the company.
What You'll Do
* Design and implement new features with modern Android technologies
* Enhance and maintain a clean, testable codebase following MVVM principles
* Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Collaborate across teams to create seamless user experiences
* Take part in architectural discussions and broader Android strategy
* Create technical proposals and documents that explore solutions and trade-offs
What You Bring
* Solid grasp of object-oriented programming
* Strong experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
* Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and MVVM pattern
* Familiarity with asynchronous tools like Coroutines or RxJava
* Experience integrating RESTful APIs
* Proficiency in writing unit tests (UI testing is a plus)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to support others and contribute to shared coding standards
* A keen interest in scalable architectures, performance, and great UI/UX
