We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef with two Michelin stars to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a variety of desserts, pastries, and sweet goods, with a strong skill set in baking high-quality treats. Creativity in developing new flavors and recipes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare a wide range of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread, following both traditional and modern recipes.
2. Create innovative desserts to update our menus and attract customers.
3. Decorate pastries with various icings, toppings, etc., ensuring attractive presentation.
4. Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and place appropriate orders within budget constraints.
5. Check the quality of ingredients and the condition of baking equipment.
6. Lead and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to improve efficiency.
7. Assist in staffing, recruitment, and training of the pastry team.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety standards.
