Super opportunity to lead the rooms operations at the cluster Novotel and Mercure Lisboa! We are looking for a new Cluster Rooms Division Manager!
What we expect from you:
* Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead all rooms operations for both Novotel and Mercure Lisboa hotels, overlooking a total of 353 rooms and more than 50 Heartists.
* Lead the daily operation of the Rooms Division department, including recruitment, training, operational setup, and team development.
* Strong leadership and “lead by example” attitude with the two main focuses being guests and Heartists.
* Ensure the seamless setup and operation of all guest room services, public areas, and departments such as Front Office, Reservations, and Housekeeping.
* Maintain Novotel’s service standards, ensuring they are integrated into all guest touchpoints and performing regular self-audits.
* Cultivate a high-performance culture within the Rooms Division, motivating and guiding a team of passionate and service-driven professionals.
* Monitor hotel’s Reputation Performance Score, proactively addressing opportunities for improvement of guest satisfaction.
* Understand and monitor budget and financial performance of the Rooms Division, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency while maintaining the expected level of service.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel-wide operations and an elevated guest experience.
* Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as local regulations.
* Drive innovation within the Rooms Division department.
Who are you:
* Strong rooms division background is essential.

* Strong understanding of the operational and logistical aspects involved.
* Strong customer orientation, emotional intelligence, and credibility, with a sense of commitment and accountability.
* Leadership skills that inspire and unify teams around common goals, striving for excellence in both quality and financial outcomes.
* Financial management experience with the ability to control budgets and achieve cost efficiencies.
* Passionate about delivering a high-level experience to guests.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English.
* Creative thinking and the ability to embrace innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
* Familiarity with hospitality management software (e.g., FOLS, OPERA) is crucial.
Competitive base salary + IHT
Permanent contract with 3 or 6 months of experience (depending on the profile)
