This pivotal role is based near our office and you'll be instrumental in supporting our daily financial operations across multiple locations. As a Global Payroll and Accounting Expert, you will be responsible for:
* Taking charge of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring smooth cash flow.
* Preparing and maintaining critical financial records and reports, and assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
* Mastering invoice reconciliations and accurately inputting accounting entries into our system.
* Performing detailed bank statement and general ledger account reconciliations.
* Overseeing payroll processing and review, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
* Maintaining impeccable and well-organized financial documentation.
* Conducting vital monthly cost reconciliations and promptly issuing invoices.
* Assisting with crucial budget filing and presentations.
* Collaborating on various accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
What We're Looking For:

We're searching for a dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:
* A university degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting professional training.
* A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an accounting or payroll role within a dynamic corporate setting.
* Strong knowledge of local payroll laws is highly preferred.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with diverse accounting tools/software is a plus.
* Bilingual fluency in English and another language (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication across our international teams.
* Residency in the region is preferred, ideally based near our office.
