We are looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA to join us in Lisbon.
* Database Operations (FOCUS, SQL Server)
* General database services on productive systems including the following:
* - Daily global operation meeting;
* - Responding to incident, changes and requests within defined SLA;
* - Monitoring backups and resolve issues;
* - Monitoring through tools and/or custom scripts;
* - General technical trouble shooting and resolution of issues;
* - Root cause analysis for incidents and propose preventive measures;
* - Migration / upgrade / copy databases;
* - Supervision of automated patching;
* - Consulting, planning and executing activities with customers;
* - Providing 24x7 support and resolve upcoming issues independently;
* - Supporting DR tests;
* - Communication of recognized risks, issues and areas for improvement.
Must have expertise:
* SQL Server (2008 to 2022): Service should demonstrate senior expertise in database administration in complex international environments;
* Expertise with running SQL Server in Public Cloud: AWS, Azure;
* * Nice to have expertise:
* familiarity with ServiceNow
* Additional expertise administration of Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, Db2
* Puppet
* Scripting, automation expertise
