Our business goal is to be the world leader in international travel, adventure and discovery.Grand Circle Corporation is currently seeking candidates for the following position:Operations Coordinator based in Portugal (remote)The successful candidate will be responsible for handling relations with suppliers, resolving quality issues, planning the activities for the tour groups before the season start in pursuit of our company’s excellence goals.What you will be responsible for:Book all services with local suppliers prior to start of the season (hotels, bus companies, restaurants, local guides, etc)Handling administrative tasks such as: preparing all Group documents, reviewing all Group and Guide travel expenses, collecting and filing all end of trip documentsProvide sales updates to suppliers on monthly/weekly basisBook and confirm all arrival and departure transfers (to/from airport)Book and confirm special arrangements for individual passengersResolve quality issues and handle relations with suppliers (bus companies, restaurants, local guides, etc.)Offer 24/7 emergency support for all guidesAfter hours and weekend support phone for emergencies on rotation (1 every 3 weeks)What we offer:Competitive compensationAdditional 3 personal days from the companyIncentive Bonus based on targeted resultsMerit increase based on performancePersonal and Professional Growth – Available on requestMilestone Bonus + Travel certificate for every next 5th anniversary at GCCWORLDWIDE GC Tour packages available to associates @ discounted priceReferral BonusUnique Corporate CultureWorking as part of an international team (exposure to colleagues in worldwide offices)Great opportunity to learn about all aspects of travel business and streamline your careerWhat we require from candidate’s skills:2+ years’ experience in Travel & Tourism Business (Incoming Tour Operator Preferred)Fluent English and Portuguese written and spoken (Company official language: English).
