Application Security Delivery Manager (M/F/D)
Triangle Talent Portugal is recruiting an organized, proactive, and delivery-oriented Application Security Delivery Manager for a leading client in its field, based in Porto.
You will play a key role within the Cybersecurity team, focusing on the planning, prioritization, tracking, and reporting of application security initiatives. You will work closely with Tech Leads, Security Specialists, Development Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure visibility, consistency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery Management (JIRA/Kanban) - Oversee the end-to-end delivery of application security initiatives using JIRA and Kanban frameworks. Maintain dashboards, manage backlogs, track tasks, and provide delivery reporting.
2. Coordination of Security Activities - Coordinate security assessments and follow up on vulnerability identification and remediation efforts; Drive secure SDLC initiatives across development teams.
3. Stakeholder & Team Communication- Build bridges and facilitate effective communication between diverse teams. Present clear and concise updates to stakeholders; Translate complex technical security issues into clear delivery plans, risk assessments, and relevant business messages.
4. Process Improvement & Metrics - Identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Drive the continuous refinement of security processes, metrics, and workflows.
5. Multi-disciplinary Collaboration - Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating with security engineers, developers, infrastructure teams, product owners, and management.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience as an Application Security Delivery Manager or in a similar delivery coordination/project management role within IT, cybersecurity, or application security.
• Strong proficiency in JIRA: extensive experience with Kanban boards, dashboards, backlog management, task tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, track actions rigorously, and maintain structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and timely execution.
• Communication Mastery: The ability to extract relevant information from technical teams and distill it into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive & Assertive Mindset: Solution-oriented with the capability to constructively question status-quo and ensure action items are closed.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical subjects and translate them into business risks and delivery plans.
• Fluency in Portuguese: Native or C1/C2 level required.
• Advanced English Proficiency: C1 level required for working in an international context.
Technical Skills
• Expertise in JIRA and Kanban/Agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of standard application security tools: SAST, DAST, SCA, and WAF.
• Knowledge of common programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and web frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools.
