We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Scientist in Lisbon, Portugal.
Our Global Data & Analytics Hub operates within a product-based framework emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and delivering value through impactful data products. We are committed to leveraging data and analytics to drive growth and provide exceptional value across markets, functions, and categories.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Build data analytics capabilities as a customer-centric service, providing relevant insights for business challenges based on data science principles, and continuously improve this service.
2. Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into viable data products, managing expectations regarding timelines and quality.
3. Conduct proofs of concept and contribute to product development within Data Science teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Manage external Data Science teams supporting the Product-Based Organization.
5. Drive efficiency by integrating advanced tools, algorithms, and systems available in the market.
We're looking for someone with:
- A Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Science with proven leadership of Data Science teams.
- Experience within PMI affiliates is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL; knowledge of R, Scala, PySpark is a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles, SDLC, and software versioning tools like Bitbucket.
- Experience with AWS stack and proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of MLOps for deploying and maintaining models in production.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and compliance issues.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Ability to independently conceptualize, prototype, and implement algorithms to solve business challenges.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with strong presentation skills.
