Technical Support Expert Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technical support expert to provide technical assistance and support to our clients, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain our computer systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with computers, printers, and other devices
* Install and configure new computer systems and software for clients
* Maintain computer systems by performing regular updates and maintenance tasks
* Diagnose network connectivity problems and resolve them in a timely manner
* Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in IT preferred
* Proven experience as a technical support specialist or similar role is a plus but not required
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and basic networking concepts
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems quickly
* Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player
