The Job Role
We are seeking an IT Security Specialist for an international project.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of regional IT security policies and roadmaps.
* Assess IT security risks and exposures.
* Ensure operational protection of information systems.
* Manage security incidents.
* Contribute to the global security community.
Requirements
* Over 5 years of experience in IT security and cybersecurity domains.
* More than 3 years in a similar role involving incident response and security governance.
* Certification in ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or equivalent.
* Proven track record in managing IT security incidents and coordinating response teams.
* Strong understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
* Experience designing and implementing security processes across enterprise environments.
* Familiarity with European cybersecurity directives, including NIS2.
* Knowledge of international standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and COBIT.
* Hands-on experience with cloud security across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
* Proficiency in enterprise architecture and its integration with security controls.
* Skilled in using desktop and infrastructure security tools.
* Strong business analysis capabilities and financial awareness.
* Expertise in incident management lifecycle.
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools.
* Fluency in English.
