We are a small company with a deep engagement in sustainability. We have developed a building heating system that utilizes the outer layer of the building as a greenhouse, a heat pump fed by greenhouse pre-heated air, and the soil beneath the building as thermal storage. In ideal conditions, this system can save significant energy; for example, our prototype's greenhouse reaches 50ºC in winter, greatly enhancing the heat pump's COP.
Your role within the company would be to model the system under various scenarios to create a spreadsheet for estimating expected energy gains. Additionally, you will be responsible for verifying the proof of concept during the construction of our first project implementing this system. We also aim to explore other aspects, such as heat pump control at high temperatures and its operation above the factory-set 43ºC with the compression valve fully open.
