NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Guimarães Public Transport Decarbonisation (CNC – PT) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overarching objective of this assignment is to deliver advisory support for the development of the Guimaraes Municipality Bus Rapid Transit and Sustainable Urban mobility plan projects, in an integrated and coordinated manner, aiming at accelerating the decarbonisation of the transport system in the Municipality.
Location : Guimaraes, Portugal
Duration : The intended start date is February **** and the services shall be provided for a period of 20 months from this date.
Key Expert: Senior Architect / Urban Planner (Cat. II)
Qualifications and skills:
At least a Bachelor's Degree (or academic equivalent) in architecture or in civil engineering, urban planning and/or design ( Minimum requirement ).
Working command of English language (CEFR C1) ( Minimum requirement ).
Working command of Portuguese language (CEFR C1) ( Minimum requirement ).
General professional experience:
- At least 10 years' experience in urban and land use planning and/or urban design ( Minimum requirement ).
Specific professional experience:
- Specific knowledge and experience in the development of land use and urban development plans and urban design at different stages.
( Minimum requirement ).
- Specific planning and design experience in Portugal cities and/or in cities with historical heritage will be considered an asset .
