Hertel Robotics is building autonomy systems for environments where failure is not an option: open ocean, storms, moving vessels, search & rescue, and high-risk cinematic operations.
We are looking for a
Brand & Narrative Strategist in the making
— someone who helps define
what we stand for
,
how we speak
, and
why anyone should care
before the product is finished.
Your Mission
Help shape the long-term narrative, positioning, and brand strategy of a deep-tech company operating at the intersection of engineering, risk, and human experience.
What You Will Do
Work directly with the founder on:
* Brand positioning & category definition
* Core narrative and messaging
* Long-term storytelling strategy
* Translate complex autonomy technology into simple, human meaning
* Study and dissect:
* Apple, Tesla, SpaceX, Red Bull, Patagonia
* Legendary ads and campaigns (not trends)
Help design:
* Messaging frameworks
* Early campaigns
* Brand voice & tone
* Ask uncomfortable but necessary questions:
* "Why should anyone care?"
* "What are we
really
selling?"
* "What promise are we making?"
What You Will NOT Do (at first)
* Cut social media clips all day
* Chase likes or vanity metrics
* Post content without strategy

* Comfortable with ambiguity
