Position: SAP IT Tax Technical Consultant Location: Porto, Portugal | Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office Main responsibilities:Analyze and advise on functional, methodological, and process-oriented solutions for business departments Participate in the selection of software components and train business departments on optimal use Develop IT concepts independently based on customer requirements Build and enhance existing implementations for tax recording and tax reporting Test created programs, processes, and system functions Work on projects with various internal and external counterparts Requirements:3+ years of experience in SAP IT Tax consulting or development Knowledge of Accounting, AR/AP sub‐ledgers, and General Ledger Understanding of tax reporting and Value-Added Tax (VAT) concepts Familiarity with tax platforms for tax reporting and eInvoicing (e.g. PEPPOL) SAP development expertise in ABAP, ABAP OO, Fiori, and BTP — custom reports and interfaces (mandatory) Configuration ability for tax determination in SAP MM, SD, and FI tax codes Experience interfacing with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) for eInvoicing Knowledge of 3rd party tax applications such as Sovos, Deloitte taxCube, or Vertex (valued) Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with JIRA Fluency in English (mandatory) SAP certifications for Accounting and SAP DRC (valued) If you think you're a good fit, don't hesitate to apply for this opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
