About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Training Instructor to join our team at NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training on TOPFAS applications, including interoperability training, to NCI Academy or customers' locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, advanced knowledge of word processing and graphics presentation tools, and experience working with modern education technologies. They should also have professional knowledge of the current NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Directive (COPD) and recent experience in working with TOPFAS.
Additional requirements include qualification in some of the TOPFAS applications, such as TOPFAS System Analysis Tool (SAT), TOPFAS Operations Planning Tool (OPT), or TOPFAS Campaign Assessment Tool (CAT), as well as prior experience working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, maintain and deliver theoretical and practical training on all TOPFAS applications, including interoperability training
* Support the TOPFAS Section Head in planning and coordination of TOPFAS iterations and ensure business continuity for the TOPFAS Section
* Develop and apply suitable training delivery methods for classroom, remote, online and blended learning
* Produce the required visual, audio-visual or multimedia aids including teaching notes and handouts
* Apply Academy Quality Assurance Policies
* Contribute to Course Control Documentation in accordance with SAT procedures
* Participate in relevant training events (courses, seminars, conferences) to maintain the required level of competence and knowledge
* Engage, advise and contribute towards Training Needs Analysis for future TOPFAS Systems and Services
Essential Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years professional experience in delivering training to adult learners
* Advanced knowledge of word processing and graphics presentation tools
* Knowledge of modern education technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools
* Professional knowledge of the current NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Directive (COPD)
* Recent professional experience in working with TOPFAS
* Qualification in some of the TOPFAS applications
* Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
Education:
A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.
