Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionateAccountantto join ourShared Services Center Team, with colleagues in France, Norway, Ireland and UK. The role will report to the Shared Services Center Manager and will bebased in Lisbon.

On the back of the extraordinary growth we have enjoyed in the past years,we aim to strengthen our Shared Services Center team and further develop the Accounting function. This Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.
Responsibilities will include, among others:
Cost analysis
Accruals and Reconciliations
Fixed assets
HFM and Oracle reports
Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on Journal Entries
Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including Reconciliation report
Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

Experience and Qualifications

As a result, we are looking for aself-starterandhigh potential/ top performerindividual who will combineAccounting knowledgewith a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.
Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)
Strong interest for Accounting
Experienced professional with approx. 5 yrs track-record within Accounting in an international environment
Fluent in written and spoken English
