Adecco is hiring a HR BP. Following Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporations spin-off from its parent company, Daimler Truck, and the planned integration with Hino Motors, more than 50 new permanent positions have opened in Portugal. This role is based in Tramagal (Abrantes) and offered under a local contract with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe.
What will this person do?
• Develop and implement programs and activities that promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture;
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices;
• Support managers and employees in setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback;
• Identify training needs and support the design and implementation of learning and development programs;
• Coordinate workshops, seminars, and other educational activities to promote employee growth;
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits matters to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness;
• Ensure the optimal structure of teams, workforce planning, and capability building to drive efficiency and business performance;
• Collaborate with finance and department heads to create annual labor cost budgets;
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations;
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to management for decision-making;
• Support initiatives that reinforce the desired culture and drive organizational change;
• Liaise with Talent Acquisition ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent for key roles;
• Support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace;
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and develop HR strategies to meet business objectives.

What the ideal candidate looks like?
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field;
• 4 years of HR experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors;
• Proven track record in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, and Organizational Development;
• Strong understanding of Portuguese labor legislation and HR compliance requirements;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Portuguese and a good command of English;
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels;
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical approach to HR decision-making;
• High level of confidentiality and ethical standards;
• Passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
