We are looking for a Fullstack Java Developer for a hybrid project in Porto. Key requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot.
* Strong knowledge of Angular.
* Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a plus.
* Experience with NodeJs and PostgreSQL database is a plus.
* Solid understanding of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy.
* Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices.
* Comfortable with DevOps practices involving CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, among others.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* Proficiency in English is required.
Role and Key Accountabilities:
* Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
* Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to align with business requirements and meet delivery timelines.
* Prioritize and resolve client issues promptly, adhering to SLAs.
* Conduct code reviews and contribute to critical feature designs.
* Flag technical debt and areas for improvement, documenting them for prioritization.
* Implement documentation systems for knowledge transfer and communication.
* Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
* Follow Agile Scrum development processes.
