We are currently seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to help us scale our data pipelines efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and evolving our data warehouse architecture, ensuring it remains well-architected, maintainable, and aligned with growing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and data quality requirements. You will work closely with product managers and designers to prepare datasets for new features, balancing usefulness, cost efficiency, and development speed.
A critical aspect of this role is troubleshooting and resolving customer-reported data issues promptly. Additionally, you will define and monitor data quality and SLOs for critical datasets. Your expertise will also be essential in mentoring teammates and promoting data engineering best practices within the organization.
This position requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in advanced SQL, familiarity with data modeling, experience with analytical databases (BigQuery, ClickHouse, Snowflake, etc.), and expertise with Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL). Previous experience with large and complex projects is also highly valued.
