Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team in Vilamoura. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for implementing effective communication strategies that enhance our visibility and strengthen our brand positioning across all platforms.
You will collaborate closely with our Communications Manager and external PR agencies to ensure a unified and consistent messaging approach. Your role will involve coordinating with PR agencies to maximize brand visibility, reviewing and providing input on press releases and media content, supporting the creation and adaptation of content for websites, newsletters, and internal channels, managing day-to-day communications-related tasks, monitoring media coverage, and preparing regular reports and summaries.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in communications or PR, preferably in hospitality, leisure, or sports.
* Strong writing, editing, and content adaptation skills.
* Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing timelines across projects.
* Familiarity with digital tools (CMS, email platforms, basic media monitoring tools).
* Organised, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities.
* Interest in branding, storytelling, and leisure-focused industries is a plus.
