We are seeking a Process Engineer for Plastic Extrusion to enhance our production processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing production processes in the plastic extrusion area, aiming to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality through the application of continuous improvement tools. They will participate in multidisciplinary teams to introduce new projects, ensuring compliance with project management system requirements.
The job involves:
* Programming extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment.
* Analyzing capacity lines and auxiliary equipment (e.g., extruders, chillers, cutters).
* Managing material loads and consumptions in the SAP system.
* Preparing quotes and costs for new components (e.g., plastic profiles).
* Creating and updating routings and material lists (BOM).
* Analyzing material consumption (resins, pigments, accessories).
* Following up and supporting production inventory coordination with planning.
Safety, Security, and Environment (HSE):
* Complying with and promoting HSE policies at work.
* Using personal protective equipment correctly.
Quality:
* Following the quality management system procedures.
* Participating in continuous improvement actions and problem-solving (e.g., 8D, PDCA).
Requirements:
1. Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
2. At least 2 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in an industrial environment with plastic profile extrusion.
3. Knowledge of operating and maintaining extruders, chillers, cutters, and measurement equipment.
4. Knowledge of different types of polymers and their properties (e.g., PVC, PE, PP, ABS, etc.).
5. Ability to analyze processes and solve problems (e.g., 5W2H, Ishikawa, 8D).
6. Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation.
7. Familiarity with SAP or another ERP industry.
8. Intermediate English (oral and written); other languages are valued.
