Description
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Logistics, Warehouse, 3PL Partners) and the IT development team, translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Configure, customize, and maintain ERP modules related to Logistics Execution (LE) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to support distribution, warehousing, and transportation processes.
Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of ERP solutions for warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound processing, slotting, physical inventory, and cross-docking.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues within the integrated ERP environment, ensuring minimal disruption to logistics operations.
Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, UAT) and create comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and training materials.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, fostering strong adoption of ERP capabilities.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability within the 3PL and distribution network.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a core focus on ERP logistics modules.
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC with specialization in Logistics Execution (LE) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Experience with other leading ERP platforms (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a logistics context will also be considered.
Solid understanding of 3PL operations, distribution center workflows, and integrated supply chain processes.
Strong functional and configuration skills, with the ability to map business processes to system capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a multi-system, integrated environment.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Highly organised, structured, and able to work autonomously on complex projects from conception to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP implementation or upgrade projects in a logistics/distribution setting.
Knowledge of integration technologies (IDocs, APIs) between ERP, Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
Certification in relevant ERP modules (SAP EWM, etc.).
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
