What will be your mission?
As Sommelier, you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by administering the day-to-day operations of Wine service areas in the hotel.
What will you do?
* Delivery of wine service to the guests.
* Training the wait staff.
* Managing wine stock inventory.
* Keeping wine stocks under control.
* Wine menu development.
* Costing/margins management.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience as a sommelier, managing wine stock.
* Good level of English both verbal and written.
* Accredited sommelier certificate.
* Passion for wine and drinks in general.
* Proven track of engaging the restaurant team in wine (e.g. wine-pairing, upselling, training).
* Ambitious to learn and develop whilst on job.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Pleasant, positive, and open attitude.
