Our storage systems are used in UPS, Telecom, Datacenters, Public Transport, in Front-of- and Behind-the-Meter applications and many more. /ppbr / /ppstrongAbout the job: /strong /ppbr / /ppFor our fast-growing division Energy Solutions in Castanheira do Ribatejo, Portugal at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: strongSystem Engineer – Power Conversion Grid Integration. /strong /ppbr / /ppReporting to the Department Manager, you will be responsible, within the RD team, for delivering a technically robust, grid‑compliant, and fully optimized electrical architecture for turnkey BESS plants. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat will your daily responsibilities include in this role? /strong /ppbr / /pulliServe as the technical lead for power conversion and grid integration topics — including converter/inverter selection, grid compliance, medium voltage system interfaces, and essential power system studies. /liliDevelop and validate overall electrical system architecture, including equipment sizing, system topology, and performance calculations at the point of interconnection. /liliLead the medium voltage system and Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical design, covering items such as MV stations, transformers, switchgear, protection devices, grounding systems, and auxiliary power. /liliPrepare key engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, protection concepts, cable-sizing documents, and equipment specifications. /liliEnsure electrical safety, protection principles, and technical compliance across all phases of design and implementation. /liliSupport tenders, technical proposals, and project execution while collaborating closely with multi disciplinary engineering teams. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongWhat we ask for: /strong /ppbr / /pulliDegree in Electrotechnics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. /liliProfessional experience of at least 2 years in an industrial environment or in technical after‑sales support. /liliKnowledge of power systems, electrical installations, or related areas. /liliEnglish level C1 required. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAvailability to travel within Europe. /liliAbility to work in international and multicultural scenarios. /liliResults orientation. /liliStrong sense of responsibility. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongWhat we offer: /strong /ppbr / /ppWe offer you a challenging, responsible and varied job in a modern, fast growing division within an International Corporation.
