Position Summary
The Reporting & Analytics Lead will oversee reporting operations and develop future reporting strategies. The role emphasizes short-term accuracy in financial reporting and medium-term improvements aligned with the Finance Business Partner & controlling teams in HQ. Reporting to the SDO Finance Lead, the role involves leadership, analysis, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4, including Business Intelligence Analysts and Business Controllers, fostering collaboration and assessing performance.
2. Financial Analysis: Manage data collection and analysis to support forecasts and management reporting, identifying risks.
3. Variance Analysis: Work with stakeholders to analyze variances from budgets and forecasts, providing insights.
4. Management Reporting: Standardize and coordinate management reports and approvals.
5. Process Improvement: Enhance R&A processes for efficiency and scope expansion.
6. Forecast Accuracy: Collaborate with FP&A and Business Partners to improve forecast quality and alignment.
Skills & Experience
1. Education: MSc in Accounting & Finance, MBA, or certifications like CFA, CMA, CPA.
2. Experience: 5–8 years in FP&A.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4 HANA), and consolidation tools.
4. Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
5. Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
