At Smart consulting we are looking for a highly skilled Data Security and Cryptography Expert to join our cybersecurity and IT risk management teams.
The role is focused on strengthening the security posture of the organization in an evolving threat landscape, contributing to enterprise-wide security initiatives, and ensuring robust data protection and cryptographic strategies across multiple entities.
As part of the Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud delivery teams, you will work closely with central teams and subsidiaries, contributing to the definition, implementation, and oversight of cutting-edge security solutions.
Key Responsibilities Define security requirements and strategy for data security and cryptography across the organization; Support subsidiaries in implementing and adapting data protection and cryptographic measures ; Assess the robustness of designs, data protection mechanisms, and cryptographic key management ; Conduct risk analyses, evaluate security impacts, and propose effective countermeasures; Define guidelines for the use of Blockchain and cryptographic solutions within the organization; Participate intechnical Proofs of Concept (POCs), including emerging technologies (e.G., homomorphic encryption, anonymization, masking); Contribute to the inventory and management of cryptographic assets and support crypto agility initiatives; Perform technological watch activities and share knowledge with the wider security community; Communicate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.G., IT teams, Legal teams); Lead presentations, seminars, or workshops to strengthen awareness and expertise in data security.
Technical Skills Strong expertise in IT Risk and Cybersecurity ; Solid knowledge of data security, cryptography, and emerging technologies ; Proficiency inrisk assessment frameworks (e.G., ISO 27001/27005, Ebios RM, or equivalent); Ability to define, analyze, and evaluate data security solutions and cryptographic protocols.
Language Skills English (C1–C2 level) – mastery required.
