## **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**## This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
* ## Responsible for performance as measured against key safety, quality, and production metrics.
* ## With direction from Quality and Operations leaders, completes detailed procedures and checklists to verify and document the equipment is assembled to the defined specifications.
* ## Works with Operations to help define and implement quality requirements, plans, checklists, and other deliverables.
* ## Provide inspection related reports and support material as required.
* ## Ensures the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process is properly utilized when needed; and leads the tagging, logging and quarantine of NCM materials.
* ## Provides updates to the Quality and Operations teams on the status of any quality issues discovered.
* ## Coordinates the collection of quality data (inspection results, checklists, pictures, certifications, etc.).
* ## Supports the Quality Team in the corrective action process.
* ## Conducts scheduled or random quality inspections on raw materials, work in process, and finished assemblies.
* ## Collaborate with Leadership and quality teams at other facilities on the implementation of standardized quality tools consistently across all locations.
* ## Assist with quality training as needed.
* ## Offer quality technical support to Operations personnel as the need arises.
* ## Work with other departments within the division as need arises.
This may also entail working directly with vendor representatives and occasionally with customers.
* ## Maintain departmental records pertinent to quality issues related to the assigned division or areas.
* ## Maintain and keep current assigned reports and files.
Handle all follow-up calibration as specified by UL.
* ## Perform finished goods inspection and packaging duties as need arises.
* ## Update standards of work and job instructions as needed.
* ## Inspect freight damaged returns to supply information to Shipping and Receiving for the filing of freight claims.
Also supply information to Scheduling to process the returns back through Production.
* ## Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
## **Qualifications**## To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
## · Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
## · 5+ years experience in quality or inspection role.
## · Understanding of advanced mathematics concepts.
## · High level of visual awareness.
## · Advanced organizational skills.
## · Experience drafting reports and collecting data.
## · Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
## · Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
## · Familiarity with the materials and processes involved with the manufacture of products within the assigned areas.
## · Basic understanding of refrigeration and electrical systems utilized in the manufacture of the ice merchandiser and walk in coolers.
## · Experience with Microsoft Office required.
## · Ability to work with test and measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometer, pressure gauges, and amp probes.
