Why You Should Join
You will be responsible for the technical and management development of new and existing suppliers according to the SI Global Strategy defined by Procurement and Supplier Quality, using applicable assessments and frequent visits to the targeted suppliers. You should be an expert in QMS (ISO 9001/IATF 16949/VDA6.3), Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving Tools, TE Systems, and Training, with high tooling and technical skill capability.
Your Main Tasks
1. Define and execute Supplier Integration Program at selected suppliers.
2. Perform potential analysis at new suppliers (VDA6.3 Potential Analysis).
3. Conduct Supplier Integration Assessments for selected suppliers.
4. Perform regular visits to suppliers under the Integration Program until QCDTS targets are achieved.
5. Verify CQI certifications and perform CQI audits when applicable.
6. Support suppliers in System Development according to IATF standards (e.g., ISO 9000 to IATF).
7. Monitor supplier performance during the Development (Integration) Program and escalate issues to Procurement as needed.
8. Train experts within SQ for IATF / Core Tools / 5S / Poka-Yoke / Problem-Solving & PDCA / QRM / Lean Tools.
9. Manage the Supplier Academy and Onboarding Process for Quality.
10. Ensure tooling and technical skills meet the required commodity/manufacturing process standards.
11. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Value Stream Mapping workshops at suppliers to identify cost improvements.
12. Lead supplier improvement workshops focusing on reducing CoPQ, scrap, and implementing lean manufacturing.
Your Ideal Background
* B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Quality Management, with procurement experience being a plus.
* Minimum 5 years of Lean Manufacturing experience.
* Expert knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, ISO 14000, ISO 9001, Automotive Core Tools, Poka-Yoke, and other automotive standards.
* Certified VDA 6.3 (version 2023) / IATF 16949 second-party auditor.
* Proficient in Problem Solving Tools (8D, PDCA, A3, DMAIC, SPS, etc.).
* Technical capability according to commodity/manufacturing process requirements.
* Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
* Experience working in a matrix environment.
* Knowledge of specific products and processes (e.g., Molding, Stamping, Plating, Die casting, Mechanical Assembly, PAB/PCBA).
* Proficiency with supplier APQP tools (PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, R@R, Poka-Yoke, 5S, 8D).
* Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
* Thorough knowledge of problem-solving and auditing tools (5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, ISO 19011).
* Basic SAP knowledge, especially in Quality modules.
* Basic GD&T knowledge.
* Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, coaching, and training skills.
* Fluent in English (speaking, listening, writing).
Job requires 50-75% travel, including abroad. Must be independent and collaborative across functions, countries, and regions.
