Background:
The IT/OT convergence at Ferring, now referred to as the Digital Factory Organization, represents a significant transformation that is currently underway at both global and local levels. This initiative aims to integrate Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) in one department to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and foster innovation across the organization. By bridging the gap between IT and OT, Ferring is able to leverage data-driven insights, improve decision-making processes, and optimize production workflows. This ongoing transformation is a testament to Ferring's commitment to embracing digitalization and staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry.
To further enhance operational efficiency, We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Digital Factory Delivery Manager to oversee and manage our digital factory sites for medium and small locations in a dotted line capacity. Acting as a business partner for the sites and global functions to develop and align roadmap, deliver the projects and demands.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and OT, digital transformation, project management, and team leadership.
Your day at Ferring
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Lead and manage digital factory (IT and OT) departments for medium and small sites in a matrix organization, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency and delivery.
* Lead and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and ensure team members have the resources and support they need to perform effectively.
* Orchestrating and coordinating IT and OT demands until implementation and value measurement.
* Support issue resolution and when required, escalation process.
* Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on demand progress and the overall performance of the Digital factory demand portfolio.
* Drive execution of complex demands and track performance issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including sites head and manage expectations.
* Oversee the deployment of digital tools and technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize delivery.
* Ensure that products and services meet quality standards and customer requirements.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
* Accountable for the site roadmap definition and consolidation in cooperation with the sites Digital Factory Lead.
* Accountable for the annual operating expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets for the function to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of Global Digital Factory and the site and is within plan.
* Ensuring effective coordination and good collaboration with Ferring's global Digital Factory, Global Infra & Support, Global ERP and Analytics, Global Manufacturing Network (GMN), Global Manufacturing Technology and Science functions.
* Ensure implementation and respect of global technology standards

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
* Minimum 5 years' experiences in the Manufacturing Domain
* Ability to understand the process and solution architecture E2E across multiple technologies.
* Proven experience in digital transformation, manufacturing or a related field
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills:
* Manufacturing business application knowledge
* Experience in the key SAP S/4 functionalities such as PP, PP-PI, Plant maintenance is a plus
* Experience with an MES is a plus
* Knowledge of OT software, including Historians, data acquisition services (OPC), and approaches to manufacturing and quality management systems integration.
* Solid understanding of IT infrastructure for OT solutions, including physical/virtual servers, Microsoft platforms, and associated applications.
* Familiarity with validation standards and guidelines (e.g., GAMP) and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
* Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on coaching, process improvement, compliance, and team capability building.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
* Effective change management skills and the ability to build and motivate teams.
* Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across different levels and functions.

* Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and project requirements.
Project and Analytical Skills:
* Project management experience, including budgeting and resource allocation.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.
Languages:
* Fluent in English, other languages are a plus (French, Portuguese, …)
