The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and testing of our products, with expertise on both hardware development and manufacturing processes. Your mission will involve planning, designing and testing the best & most-reliable products to fulfill the mission of Smartex. Leadthe Electrical design for a variety of projects and products. Production ofdetailed schematicsfor PCBAs with proper & clean annotation and documentation. eCAD for PCBAsand layout for power systems, analog & digital electronics, high-speed signalling and routing. Testing & validationof sub-systems, circuits, and components using a variety of prototyping and testing techniques. Simulation of electrical sub-systems & circuits usingLTSpice. Writingdetailed engineeringand technical documentation for system requirements, design assumptions, AQL for validation, reliability/certification and regression testing and test procedures. Execute tests of validation, reliability/certification and regression to meet product specified requirements and AQL. Writing ofdetailed test reports/analysisand recommendations for future developments. Participatein architecting sessions for future projects & products. Building ofICT & FCT test jigsfor PCBAs and sub-assemblies. Actively Designfor Assembly, Manufacturing and Testing - in different phases of the development stage. Development ofsmall firmware and softwareservices to support electrical development. 7+ yearsof experience in hardware development of embedded electronics products. Proven experience inanalog electronics. Proven experience inhardware product certification, namelyIEC norms. Proven experience inKicad and LTSpice. Proven experience inLinux Systems (Ubuntu/Debian)andDevice Treesfor Embeeded Systems. Knowledge inembedded software & firmwareBash, C/C++andPythonis anice-to-have. Knowledge of thehardware development lifecycle. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in English & Portuguese. Fast Learner, ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work in a dynamic andfast-paced environment. Collaborative mindsetand willingness to work closely with team members to achieve shared goals.
