As a Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a critical role in monitoring and reviewing industrial instrumentation projects ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and reviewing industrial instrumentation projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards and applicable legislation.
Analyzing technical documentation such as P&IDs, instrument specifications (sensors, transmitters, actuators), instrument lists, datasheets and calibration reports.
Supporting the selection and sizing of instruments for measuring process variables (pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc.).
Reviewing instrumentation loop diagrams and signal lists, ensuring consistency with process requirements and electrical installations.
Monitoring instrumentation tests and commissioning, supporting the resolution of technical non-conformities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working on industrial instrumentation projects, including reviewing technical documentation and supporting installations.
Solid knowledge of instrumentation systems, measurement principles, and relevant standards.
Experience working with P&IDs, i nstrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and integration with control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to technical details and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate on technical reviews without direct leadership responsibilities.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for instrumentation design and documentation is a plus.
