Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus' global success and play a vital role in Airbus' transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end‐to‐end processes (e.g. Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. To drive such culture change we are looking for candidates with pioneering spirit that make data‐driven decisions and take responsibility for the best outcome of their internal customers. Our purpose defines why we exist: 'We pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world'.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations ManagementSupport and assist the Head of Sourcing on management dimensions (assessment salary increase, promotion, management of competencies, training, development)Propose recommendations and supervise the implementation of General Procurement policies and proceduresWork on process harmonisation, standardisation and contribute for continuous improvement opportunitiesEscalate back‐office issues related to the General Procurement process and applicationsEnsure strict compliance with Finance, Procurement, Purchasing, and Supply Chain policies and proceduresSupport the AGBS onboarding newcomers (including global Airbus organization awareness, IT tools, HR tools, trainings...)Share and cascade central information to the local teamOperationsPerform the procurement commodity activities for example :Manage or support Call For TendersContracts management, manage query/claims, including supporting to litigation topicsTransversal activitiesBusiness Strategy definition supportOtherSupervise team workload in agreement with the Commodity ManagerLiaise with Core Countries management and coordinate with ManagersCustomer service and relationshipBuild and sustain a robust relationship with internal customersWork in close collaboration with internal customers to identify and implement solutions for problems encountered on a daily basisProject managementSupport the local procurement HO and commodity or sub‐commodity HO on special projects (i.e. systems evolution)RequirementsProcurement background and a minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a commercial or industrial environment involving tight deadlinesTeam management experienceExperience in escalating issue resolution, team building, training and team supportGood communication skills, rigor, conscientiousDemonstrated ability to organise and coordinate multiple tasks, build strong cross‐functional relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisationProven ability to work in a team and independentlySystems and tools – working knowledge of SAP desirable with a strong desire to develop furtherLanguages: English – capacity to interact daily with native English speakers.
