Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional telephone service to our guests, answering calls promptly and courteously, and handling guest queries with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strong knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, and facilities.
* Operate the telephone operator board or PBX switchboard operations and the Guest Request software.
* Be knowledgeable about guest in-house information, VIP guests, local events, and hotel daily functions.
* Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, always with a smile, and handle guest queries following brand standards and telephone etiquette.
* Direct calls to guest rooms or other departments and place outgoing calls through the switchboard or PBX system.
* Maintain accurate records of calls placed and received by all departments and record call charges.
* Ensure all guest requests are followed up and resolved on a timely basis.
