Role Overview
Wirtek is building its next engine in Energy & IoT Services and we are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to help make it happen.
This role is focused on selling services and long-term solution engagements, not off-the-shelf products. Our offerings combine software development, system integration, IoT, and data-driven solutions, tailored to customer needs within a structured and scalable delivery model.
The role is based in Porto but targets clients across Europe. Significant travel should be expected.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role in an early commercial phase, requiring a strong hunter mindset and the ability to independently build pipeline and close deals. It is about creating opportunities, opening doors and converting them into long-term partnerships.

We are looking for a senior, self-driven sales professional who can:
Build pipeline from scratch and open new accounts
Leverage an existing network (ideally in energy or industrial sectors)
Work closely with Marketing to expand lead opportunities
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value
Prove ownership, persistence and the ability to deliver results quickly
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development within the energy sector and related industries
Identify and close opportunities for software development, IoT, integration and digital services engagements
Build and manage a strong pipeline from early dialogue to signed agreements
Actively prospect and open new accounts (hunter role)
Position Wirtek as a long-term services partner, not just a project-based vendor
Engage both technical and business stakeholders
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape compelling solutions
Contribute to go-to-market approach and service positioning
Maintain structured pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot
Your Profile
10+ years of experience in B2B sales of IT services
Proven track record in hunting, opening accounts and closing deals
Experience in energy, industrial, IoT or similar environments
Strong understanding of software development services, IoT / automation / integration, and data-driven solutions
Ability to sell services-based engagements, not just products
Strong communication skills across C-level and technical stakeholders
Existing network in the energy sector is a strong advantage
Experience with structured sales processes and CRM tools (HubSpot)
